MARQUETTE -- Marquette City firefighters responded to what they're calling a suspicious fire at the old Sara Lee building on Washington Street.

The call came in just after 12:30 p.m.

A security guard who was inspecting the property noticed smoke coming from an empty garage bay on the south side of the building.

Firefighters put out the fire within five minutes.  No one was injured and there was no damage to the building.

The cause remains under investigation.
