Marquette park finalist in national grant competition

Marquette residents are asking for your help in improving a neighborhood park

MARQUETTE -- The basketball court at the Shiras Hill Park was recently selected as a national finalist in the Sprite Spark Parks Project.

The park can be awarded up to $35,000 in refurbishment grants for new basketball rims, backboards, resurfacing and art installations.

You can vote through June 10.

You can log onto the official website or Facebook page to vote.
