Three grants from the National Endowment for the Arts are coming to the Upper Peninsula.  The grants were announced Tuesday and are part of $1.5 million coming to Michigan in the form of 22 grants.

Two grants are awarded to Northern Michigan University.

One is a $25,000 grant for a display at the DeVos Art Museum, "Marquette to Spring Green to Los Angeles:  The Architecture of John Lautner."

The other is a $12,000 grant for the Upper Peninsula Folklife Festival.

The third U.P. grant is for the B.H.K. Child Development.  The $10,000 will be used for their Generations to Generations program.
