DEARBORN (AP) -- For eleven straight weeks, gas prices have risen in Michigan.

Now, the statewide average for self serve regular is $4.15 per gallon. That's a jump of 17.5 cents a gallon from a week ago.

AAA of Michigan reports that this is $1.27 more than we were paying last year at this time.

Of the cities surveyed in the weekly report, the auto club reports that the most expensive gas is in Marquette at $4.19 per gallon.  Ann Arbor is right behind at $4.18.

The cheapest fuel in the weekly survey is Lansing and East Lansing, at $4.13 a gallon.
