HOUGHTON -- A TV casting call turns deadly in the Houghton High School production of "You Could Die Laughing".
The play is about a group of has been comedians who travel to a remote Canadian lodge in hopes of landing a new series and resurrecting their career. But shortly after arriving, the pilot's keys go missing and someone dies after eating candy.
It's a whodunit murder mystery with laughs along the way.
"The writing is really great because the comedy gives us a chance to get that timing and practice something different," said Hannah Moran who plays Zoe. "We don't do a lot of comedy, so it's a really good opportunity for all of us."
The play opened Friday, but you can catch one of the remaining performances Saturday at 7 p.m. or Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Houghton High School.
