More bad check writing charges for Houghton woman

HOUGHTON -- The charges keep coming against a 28-year-old Houghton woman who's already facing at least a dozen felonies in two separate counties.

Jennifer Nettle was arraigned in Houghton County District Court on six new charges of writing no account checks.
    
Nettle is fighting similar charges in Houghton County Circuit Court and is heading to trial in Ontonagon County.
    
She's accused of writing thousands of dollars in bad checks.
    
Nettle is free on a $10,000 bond.
