Man convicted of robbery receives prison sentence

GOGEBIC COUNTY -- A Minnesota man is going to prison after pleading to armed robbery in Gogebic County.

Darnell Jackson, 24, was arrested for the robbery at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Ironwood in December of 2010.

He entered a guilty plea and on Tuesday was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison with 118 days credit.

For the guilty plea, three counts against him were dropped.
