SANDS TOWNSHIP -- Many are familiar with the story of Easter, but at the Abundant Life Outreach Center in Sands Township, they retold the story from a different angle.
The age old tale of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ is commonly recounted from a Christian's perspective, but in Sands Township, the story was told as it would have been seen through Satan's eyes.
They say hearing about Jesus liberating Satan's captives brings a message of hope.
"I really wanted to present something that, when people walked through our doors and they left, that no matter what walk they come from, who they were, or what they were, that when they left, they knew there was a hope," said Pastor Bryan Langston. "Hope, to me, is what motivates and causes people to do extraordinary things."
Following the play, the congregation sang about hope and freedom.
