MUNISING -- State Senator Tom Casperson made a stop in Munising to answer some questions from residents.
Casperson held a town hall meeting at Sydney's Thursday afternoon to hear concerns and comments from Munising residents.
Casperson has made almost a dozen stops in the U.P. so far.
Several topics were covered, such as taxes on retirees, the emergency financial manager law, and cuts to education.
Senator Casperson explained to the audience that sacrifices will have to be made across the board.
"If I can emphasize anything, this is not about certain people are bad so we punish them and others are okay. This is, we all have to partake here and work on it," said Casperson. "That's why I want to hear from everybody, especially if they are concerned or feel they have been unfairly picked on."
Senator Casperson will be stopping in Houghton and Baraga this Saturday.
