3 suspects arraigned on felony drug charges

L'ANSE -- Three suspects arrested in connection with a drug bust on April 13th in Baraga were arraigned in Baraga County District Court Tuesday morning.

32-year-old Eric Beaudoin of Flint, MI and 40-year-old Paul Aubin of Baraga are both charged with delivery/manufacture of less than 50 grams of morphine - a felony punishable by up to 20 years.

Beaudoin is also charged with possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine.  Both men are habitual offenders and face an enhanced sentencing penalty.  They're each being held in the county jail on $25,000 bond.

A third suspect - 32-year-old Jammie Vadnais of Baraga - is charged with possession of less than 25 grams of hydrocodone and possession of marijuana.  Vadnais lives with Aubin and was arrested when police executed a search warrant on her apartment following the men's arrest.  Her bond was set at $250.

All three suspects will be back in court for a preliminary exam in two weeks.
