He pled not guilty to armed robbery

IRON MOUNTAIN -- An Iron Mountain man charged with armed robbery was arraigned Monday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.

Adam Anthony Gilbert, 25, pled not guilty to armed robbery after allegedly holding up a taxi driver at knifepoint March 22.  An undisclosed amount of money was stolen.

Gilbert is also being charged as a third time habitual offender, meaning, if found guilty of the charge, he could face life in prison.

Gilbert is expected to learn his trial date June 7.
