The Lions Club hosts their 43rd annual Pancake Breakfast

NEGAUNEE -- Supporting local and national youth organizations is as simple as eating a hearty breakfast. That's what the Negaunee Lions Club has been pitching for the past 43 years with their annual Pancake Breakfast.

This year's event ran Sunday at Lakeview Elementary School, where some 20-30 Lions Club members served up hundreds of pancakes to benefit youth sports clubs and extra curricular programs.

Tickets for a meal cost $5 for an individual and $15 for an entire family.

Last year they raised nearly $5,000, and they hope to exceed that amount this year.
