HUMBOLDT TWP -- Wintery weather had a serious impact on the roads Saturday.  Relentless wet snowfall caused accidents across Marquette County, including a two-car crash in Humboldt Township early Saturday evening.

A woman driving her sedan westbound on US-41 told Michigan State Police she was adjusting her radio when she crossed the centerline, lost control in the snow and hit another sedan going eastbound on US-41, carrying two people.

At least one subject needed to be extracted from their vehicle.  All three were transported to Bell Hospital in Ishpeming for treatment of injuries.

Michigan State Police were assisted at the scene by Marquette County Extrication 131, the Marquette County Sheriff's Department, Champion Township Fire, Champion EMS, Bell EMS and Ishpeming Township Fire.
