ESCANABA -- The body of 26-year-old Adam Campbell of Escanaba was discovered in a vehicle after firefighters from Escanaba Public Safety extinguished a fire early Saturday morning.
An autopsy was performed on Monday at OSF St. Francis Hospital to determine cause of death, but results are awaiting drug screening, toxicology and urinalysis, according to Escanaba Public Safety.
This incident is under investigation by the Michigan State Police, Delta County Sheriff's Department, Fire Marshal and Michigan State Police Crime Labs.
Escanaba Public Safety are seeking any personal knowledge relating to this investigation, but stress that residents take caution when using Social Networking to gather information, due to the possibility of false information.
