MARQUETTE -- The future of the currently closed 'W' building in Sawyer could be determined as early as Monday.

The Marquette County Board of Commissioners will meet with West Branch Township officials in a special session Monday night at 6 p.m. in room 231 of the Henry Skewis Annex.

They're meeting for the sole purpose of the Sawyer fitness and community center.

Right now the 'W' is also vying for a grant from Reader's Digest as part of their Cheer campaign.

If you'd like to cheer for the 'W', you can visit their website.
