COPPER COUNTRY -- They were national runners-up, but Friday night the Keweenaw Storm girls hockey team celebrated like champions.

The team paraded from Houghton to Calumet waving to supporters from the top of fire trucks.

Then they headed to the Houghton County Arena for the real party.

Friends and family cheered as all 14 players were introduced.

Head Coach Glenn Patrick also shared stories from the season that ended with an impressive run in the national championship.
