She fled on foot before police arrived

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP -- Chocolay Township Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who crashed into a tree and fled on foot.

It happened on the 300 block of Lakewood Lane around 6:15 p.m. Thursday.

Neighbors who witnessed the accident were able to talk to the driver.

She didn't appear to be injured and ran into the woods before police arrived.

Police believe the truck was driven by 20-year-old Amanda Richer of Marquette.  They're trying to find her to see if she's alright.
