MARQUETTE -- Warmer weather is just around the corner and that means so is bike season, but before you hop on your two wheels, it's important to make sure they're ready for the ride.
Down Wind Sports recommends getting your bike tuned up before you hit the road this biking season. Tuning up your bike will ensure your fun and safety. In a tune-up, your bike's brakes will be checked and repositioned as needed.
Down Wind sports offers walk-in tune-ups at their shop, but they recommend stopping by sooner rather than later.
"If you want your bike back to ride when the weather breaks and people are excited to ride, don't wait till that day to bring your bike in because that's when...if you do it ahead of time, we get your bike back to you so when it's time to roll, you just hop on and go," said Down Wind co-owner, Todd King.
A standard tune-up at Down Wind costs about $39.
