Here are some of the stories we're covering today.

On the Early News this evening, Noel McLaren takes a further look at the controversial Emergency Financial Managers law that was just passed.  She'll be talking to an official who says the state may have to come and take over his school district because of severe financial problems.

Also on the Early, Phil DeCastro takes a look at severe weather and what we should do to prepare for it.  We do get tornadoes here in the U.P. sometimes.

We'll also have an update on the credit union robbery earlier this week.

This is Autism Awareness Month--we'll do an Up Close special on the condition on TV6 News Tonight.  Also, we'll have the latest in Hollywood releases on At the Movies, and we'll tell you about the Y Run/Walk coming up in a few weeks in Marquette.

A mix of sun, clouds, rain, maybe even a little snow this weekend.  Wesley Williams will tell us what to expect and where on tonight's newscasts.
