ONTONAGON -- An Ontonagon teen has received a suspended sentence for an assault that took place last month.

Joshua Cartwright, 17, plead guilty to aggravated assault.  He received a sentence of 66 days in jail, with 21 days credited for time served.

The sentence is suspended, meaning he will not be jailed as long as he follows the rules of his probation.

Cartwright must also pay fines and costs.
