ISLE ROYALE -- Scientists say the wolves of Isle Royale National Park may go extinct because they are dangerously short of females.

Wildlife biologists John Vucetich and Rolf Peterson of Michigan Tech University say they counted 16 gray wolves on the Lake Superior island this year, and just two, at most, are adult females.

Question of the day:  Should biologists relocate female wolves to Isle Royale or should they let nature take its course?

Vote in the poll below and leave a comment.  We'll show several comments on the TV6 Early News at 6 p.m. EST.
