Sivola will be arraigned in circuit court April 11

HOUGHTON -- The Laurium man accused of fleeing police and crashing into a Houghton building earlier this month is heading to circuit court.

Thirty-four-year-old Scott Sivola waived his right to a preliminary hearing in district court Friday.

Sivola is facing five felony charges including third degree home invasion and third degree fleeing and eluding a police officer.

He allegedly broke into a Calumet home before refusing to stop for officers in Houghton.

Sivola will be arraigned in circuit court on April 11.  If convicted he's facing up to five years in jail.
