Another round of snow is pushing across the U.P. for the day today, and overall, the weekend will buck the quiet weather we saw late Thursday and into Friday.

A weak low pushing by the region is the culprit behind the snow showers, but total accumulations won't get up above two inches anywhere.  At worst, roads could become a bit slick at times as temperatures look to be closer to the freezing mark, especially overnight.

Northerly winds tomorrow morning will kick up some lake effect snow showers along Lake Superior and keep temperatures a bit below average, in the upper 20s.  However, the snow showers won't stick around all day and should come to an end as we see some clearing through the late afternoon.  Western counties will clear first, followed (gradually) by the eastern U.P.

Chilly temperatures on Sunday night will give way to a pretty nice start to the work week.  Get the full details on that by checking out the weather page.
