ROCKLAND -- The Upper Peninsula Power Company has started to refill the Victoria Reservoir.

They have completed their inspection of the dam in frozen conditions ahead of schedule.  This year, the company only had to lower the level by four feet, instead of the usual 14 feet.

With the refill underway, UPPCO expects to have the Victoria Reservoir back to its prior level by the end of April this year.
