MARQUETTE -- If you have old gold, silver or antiques that are collecting dust, you may want to bring them to the Treasure Hunters Road Show in Marquette this week.
The treasure hunters are a Springfield, Illinois based network of representatives for thousands of collectors all over the world.
Bring in your collectibles and the treasure hunters will examine your items and use their database to offer a price on the item based on current market value and collector interest.
Representatives say many people have many items of value and don't even know it.
"Right now the market's doing great on gold and silver and coins; if you have some laying around that's broken, jewelry or something you haven't used in a long time, this is a great time to sell it," said Show Manager Noah Surgener.
The Treasure Hunters Road Show will be held in the Peninsula Room in the Ramada Inn from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday.
