MARQUETTE -- Starting on June 10, Delta Airlines will again be providing twice daily service to both Detroit and Minneapolis.

It currently offers only once daily flights to those cities.

"We thank Delta Airlines for returning the twice daily service with regional jet aircraft," said airport manager Keith Kaspari, "and we remain hopeful that during the summer, Sawyer will see the return of a third daily flight to Detroit."

The regional jets have 50 seats.

On June 10, the two flights to Detroit will leave Sawyer at 6:15 a.m. and 5:25 p.m.  The two flights to Minneapolis will leave at 7:40 a.m. and 12:50 p.m.
