BIG BAY -- Some vintage snowmobiles were pulled out of storage and tuned up for the tenth annual Big Bay Snowmobile Ride and Show Friday.
Over 100 riders showed up at the Big Bay Motel for the event which is put on by the Antique and Vintage Snowmobile Association.
The riders took the back roads and trails 15 miles up to a camp where they had a cookout with a bonfire and food.
The sleds may not go very fast and may take some money and time to keep up, but organizers say taking out the older snowmobiles reminds them of good times.
"We're not in to the new sleds because they're a little fast, but they're fine," said Ron Giannunzio of the Antique Snowmobile Association. "But, I mean, we just like to take our time back there like the good old days, back in the late sixties and seventies. Everybody had fun, family fun."
