NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- Firefighters were quick to respond to a structure fire in Negaunee Township Sunday afternoon.

The call came in around 1:30 p.m. for a structure fire on M-35.  Everyone inside of the home was able to evacuate safely.

Firefighters on scene were concerned with what was underneath the house as they shoveled out debris and snow.  Firefighters were using caution as there was a propane tank nearby that could explode.

Still no word on what caused the fire and how much damage the home sustained.
