IRON MOUNTAIN -- Unseasonably warm temperatures and foggy weather couldn't keep skiers away Thursday.
It was business as usual at Pine Mountain Ski Resort, which is usually slower during the week. But the resort's parking lot was full Thursday afternoon with skiers on the slopes.
This week's warm-up has been offset by colder temperatures at night.
Even though Pine Mountain has been dealing with the spring-like weather, they aren't ready to say goodbye to winter just yet.
"As you can see, we've still got our snow base, and we do expect colder temperatures to come back, so as long as we can get it groomed every night, it's going to be in really good condition every morning. The manmade snow isn't going to melt over a few days" said Pine Mountain's Scott Grubb.
Temperatures are expected to get back below freezing in Iron Mountain this weekend.
