Prosecution rests in extortion trial

MANISTIQUE -- The prosecution has rest in the case of 64-year-old Peter Markham.

Markham is charged on seven counts of felony extortion and two felony counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

The defense is set to call their first witness. Markham is scheduled to take the stand in his own defense during the trial.
