He was sentenced to 4 to 22 years in prison

MANISTIQUE -- A Manistique man accused of multiple burglaries, forging a check, and safe breaking was sentenced Thursday in Schoolcraft County Circuit Court.

Brian Lee Smith, 25, was sentenced to a minimum of 4 years and a maximum 22 years in prison.

Smith broke into several Schoolcraft County businesses and a home from July 2009 to October 2010.

He was arrested last November.
