This was a regional meeting for the Michigan United Conservation Corps

MUNISING -- Members of the Michigan United Conservation Corps came together Saturday afternoon for their annual meeting in Munising.

The day was filled with presentations and discussions from the DNR and the Natural Resources Commission.

One of the most popular topics of the day was the state of the U.P. deer herd.  But the main reason for the meeting was the opportunity for sportsmen to bring up resolutions that can be taken to the annual convention in June for the next year.

More than 20 members from across the U.P. attended Saturday's meeting.
