The teenager's car collided head-on with a small semi-truck

DICKINSON COUNTY -- A Kingsford teenager was hospitalized following a head-on collision on Pine Mountain Road Monday night.

Nineteen-year-old Steven Cole lost control of his car and drove over the center lane, hitting a small semi-truck head-on.

He was taken to Dickinson County Healthcare System with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, 61-year-old Robert Rhoi of Iron Mountain, was uninjured.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call at 6:48 p.m. central time Monday.

The accident is still under investigation.
