Latest news, weather, high school sports for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

WHITE PINE -- Residents of White Pine are expressing some concern about a medical marijuana dispensary that's coming to the Mineral Plaza Mall.

The shop is set to open next Monday in Carp Lake Township.  David Ray, who's been operating out of his garage since last year, will be running the dispensary.  Ray says he's been cooperative with state and local governments and even has a medical marijuana card, himself. 

The question for White Pine officials and residents is about how to regulate the shop.
