MARQUETTE -- It's a chance to taste culinary creations from around the world without having to leave Marquette or even the building for that matter.

Sunday night is the 10th annual Culinary Journey:  World on a Plate adult fund-raiser for the U.P. Children's Museum.  Fifteen different chefs will have stations throughout the museum featuring many kinds of international cuisine.  A selection of fine wines will also be paired with each of the food selections.

It's a fun event for both the staff and the guests that attend.

"It shows how the museum is versatile, but it also is a just a terrific way for people to have fun and support the Children's Museum," says Nheena Weyer Ittner, museum director.

Entertainment will be provided by Six String.

The event goes from 6 to 8 p.m., and tickets are available at the door.  Tickets are $60 for one person, or $100 for a couple.

This is the museum's biggest fund-raiser of the year.  It usually raises about $14,000.
