HANCOCK -- Local rock groups are putting on a show unlike any other in the Keweenaw this weekend.

The Recess Bullies are headlining their first ever all ages Rockfest at Studio Pizza in Hancock on Saturday.  In addition to rocking out, the group is hoping to provide a fun night without any alcohol.

The free event is sponsored by the Rock Locks Hair Salon in Calumet and Michigan Tech's Howl Group, which promotes healthy options for a wellness lifestyle.

"The whole purpose of this show is to discourage underage drinking, because, as you know, there's a problem with it around here," said Clint Kyro of Recess Bullies.  "It's bad."

Seven acts are set to take the stage, and the show will include a drum and guitar-off.  The show starts at 6 p.m.
