HANCOCK -- The Hancock Coca-Cola bottling company has made a large investment in the education of some local students.

The company donated $5,000 to the Michigan Tech Preschool.

The money will be used to improve playground equipment and replace tables and chairs in the classroom.

It's the largest single donation the preschool has ever received and will allow the school to avoid raising tuition.

The preschool says it will continue with regular fund-raisers, but expects this money to help for several years.
