ISHPEMING -- A group of Ishpeming business owners met Monday at a luncheon to hear words of motivation from a guest speaker.
The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce held the event at the U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
The speaker was George Morse, a downstate businessman and personal development coach, who spoke about keeping motivation in small businesses.
"In the toughest times, are the time when it's the most vital to be motivated to go out and do the things we need to do to help us be successful," said Morse.
This was the first of a monthly series of luncheons put on by the Chamber to help Ishpeming and Negaunee business owners meet and share ideas.
