Poor road conditions contributed to the cause of the crash.

BATES TWP. -- It's the same story we've been hearing pretty much every day for the past few weeks.  Poor road conditions lead to several people sustaining serious injuries in a two car crash Saturday morning in Bates Township in Iron County.

It happened around 8 a.m. on the Bates Amasa Road near the Paint River.

A vehicle traveling southbound, operated by a 26-year-old Amasa man, lost control and spun into the path of a northbound vehicle, driven by a 31-year-old Iron River man.

The impact injured two adults and two kids.  All four of the injured were taken by ambulance to Northstar Hospital in Iron River.

One of the kids was later airlifted to a hospital in Green Bay.
