Name released in fatal weekend Marinette County crash

A Green Bay woman was killed in Marinette County Saturday afternoon, when her car went off the highway and hit a power pole

PORTERFIELD -- The Green Bay woman who died in a car crash on on Saturday has been identified as 45-year-old Lori L. Jensen.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. on State Highway 180, just south of the Town of Porterfield.

Snow that was blowing across the highway created slippery road conditions where the crash occurred.

According to the Sheriff's Office, road conditions are expected to be a contributing factor in the crash.  She was not wearing a seat belt.

A dog that was also in the vehicle did survive the crash.
