NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- The roads may have looked a bit clearer on Thursday afternoon, but many Marquette County residents ran into some black ice.

That's exactly what caused a rollover crash in Negaunee Township.

Jody Gray, 49, and her daughter, Jennifer Gray, 21, were driving from the Gwinn area, westbound on 480, east of M-35, and hit a patch of black ice and rolled their truck over into a ditch on the side of the road.

Both were fortunately able to escape from the vehicle, but Jennifer Gray sustained minor injuries.

She was transported to Bell Hospital by Marquette EMS.
