IRON RIVER -- They call it the most delicious corner in town...the corner of West Adams and 9th Avenue in Iron River.  That's where you'll find The Pasty Corner, which has a reputation for always having flavorful, fresh pasties.

"They're very tasty; I've always bought them here.  I've tried other ones, but they weren't as good," says Jim Jacobsen, a Pasty Corner patron.

"They're always very moist, the crust is tasty--it's not overly thick--and light tasting.  I hope to make mine like theirs," says Mavis Andler, a lover of Pasty Corner pasties.

At the Pasty Corner, you can sit down and split a pasty with friends or grab one to go on your lunch break.

But it's important to note that this isn't your average pasty shop.

The Pasty Corner sells daily special pasties.  On Tuesdays, it's breakfast pasties; on Wednesdays, it's pizza pasties; and the list goes on.  They even have their own signature fold that goes over the top.

But there is one thing about them that sticks to tradition:  they're always served with a big bottle of ketchup.

And it's not just their savory pasties that people love them for.

"The service is very good.  The owners are excellent.  You can tell as they meet their customers how sincere they are in their business; they reach out to their customers," says John Andler, a Pasty Corner patron.

The owners of The Pasty Corner love their customers.  And, for being named FOX UP's Top Choice for pastiesthey want to say:

"Thank you very much!  Thank you to our friends and family and all of our customers near and far," says Debbie Rankin, co-owner of The Pasty Corner.

"We're just excited that people voted for us.  We're amazed at how many people voted," says Wally Rankin, also a co-owner of The Pasty Corner.
