ONTONAGON COUNTY -- An Illinois woman is recovering after a snowmobile accident in Ontonagon County.
It happened Wednesday afternoon around 3 p.m. on trail 11, south of M-107 in Carp Lake Township.
The Ontonagon County Sheriff's Department reports that Megan Dughi of Elgin, Illinois slowed to corner her sled, and when she entered the straight portion of the trail, her right ski ran off the trail, pulling the sled into the ditch.
She was unable to get back onto the trail, rolling the snowmobile and hitting a tree.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
