MARQUETTE COUNTY -- The firemen of Marquette County want to support the families of local troops, and they're asking for your help.

The Marquette County Firefighters Association is selling special red t-shirts with their logo to the community, and all proceeds go to the Ishpeming Armory to support the families of local troops.

They've already raised a total of $24,000.

"We're all one big family as firefighters, and we feel the same way about the troops, so as the firefighters, it's a way for us to give back to the troops, and like I said, spark awareness of the troops that are still overseas and will be there for some time," said Negaunee Township Fire Chief Jeff Kontio.

The shirts cost $10 to $12 depending on your size.  To pick yours up, just visit one of the Marquette County fire houses.
