BESSEMER TOWNSHIP -- A boy went missing Sunday afternoon from the Powderhorn Ski Hill in Bessemer Township.  A witness noticed the boy leaving, which eventually lead to authorities locating him six miles away.

The Wakefield Michigan State Police Post was contacted around 5 p.m. about the missing child.  There was surveillance video of the boy walking north on Powderhorn Road at 1:30 p.m.

Authorities were able to identify the boy's tracks and preserved them for the K-9 Unit.

Around 11:15 p.m., the boy was found in the woods, six miles away.  Beacon Ambulance checked on the boy and found him in good health.
