WATERSMEET -- The Tribal Appeals Court in Watersmeet has made a ruling on the disputed election results for the Lac Vieux Desert Tribe.

The court has upheld the results of the June election, saying there was no election fraud.

This means that the seven new council members must be sworn in.

At this time, the date for their swearing in has not been set.
