With only days remaining until Christmas, time is running out to shop and wrap presents
MARQUETTE TWP. -- Luckily, volunteers from the Moosewood Nature Center stepped up to help area residents wrap their gifts.
Westwood Mall shoppers could stop by the Project Gift Wrap booth Saturday afternoon and have presents wrapped for a small fee.
All of the proceeds raised went towards funding the programs put on by the Moosewood Nature Center.
"We do a lot of outreach into school, in and around the Marquette area," says Moosewood volunteer Mike Posthumus. "We are starting to do more programs for community members at Moosewood on Presque Isle as well."
The Center will be sponsoring a wreath and garland making program Sunday from noon until 3 p.m.
