UPPER PENINSULA -- Goodwill Industries of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on November 30.

Goodwill would like to stress that the general public should see no change in day-to-day operations of Goodwill as this process completes.

The bankruptcy was filed to solve a dispute between Goodwill and one of its landlords, according to company officials.

All of Goodwill's retail outlets will remain open and fully stocked.  Donations from the communities of local stores are still appreciated by Goodwill Industries.
