IRON COUNTY -- A Caspian couple charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment appeared Monday in District Court.
Twenty-six-year-old Jenna Dobson and 24-year-old Micah Lohrey are charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and aggravated assault.
A judge determined there was enough evidence presented during the preliminary examination to bound Lohrey and Dobson over to Circuit Court on all charges.
The victim, Dale Vassar, testified he was knocked out on the street and taken into Dobson's home. Vassar says from there he was beaten and threatened by both Lohrey and Dobson.
"They kept trying to punch me, punched me in the side of the head a couple of times," testified Vassar.
"What were you doing when he was punching you in the head?" asked the Prosecutor.
"I asked him, 'Please don't hit me no more,' and I put my head in between my legs and covered up my head," Vassar answered.
Lohrey and Dobson will have their pretrials January 3 in Iron County Circuit Court.
