The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign is in full swing for the holiday season, and they're looking for volunteers to help out
MARQUETTE -- Representatives of the Salvation Army say they are in need of volunteers to ring bells and collect donations.
The money collected helps fund many programs such as rental assistance, food pantries, and lodging assistance.
Captain Joel Arthur says it's a great way for families to give back together.
"Red Kettles are a great way to have a family tradition. If you've never been able to see what it's all about, ringing our bell, come on down to the Salvation Army and we can always put you at one of our kettle locations," says Salvation Army Captain Joel Arthur.
The Salvation Army is also in need of volunteers for their Christmas Toy Shop in the Westwood Mall.
If you would like to volunteer, you can call the Marquette Salvation Army at 226-2241.
